Amadeo construction update: completion of underground parkings
28 July 2008 - Comments (0) | Construction |
Amadeo construction progressed a lot during the past 3 weeks. The focus was on advancing the left part of Amadeo (Amadeo A1), since the drilling team moved out. The drainage layer, footer slab, slab waterproofing, armed concrete slab, armed concrete walls and walls waterproofing are now completed.
Advancement of Amadeo A1
Amadeo left part (A1) and right part (A2) are now in the same stage of advancement: the underground parking is finished. Next up is the making of the first armed concrete floor (the ground floor of Amadeo A2).

Waterproofing and protective walls
Parts of walls that are underground are covered with Index Testudo waterproofing layer. A protective wall made of small bricks is placed in front to protect the waterproofing layer from being mechanically damaged by the ground.

Passage of the geothermal probes inside the underground parking
We worked together with Rehau to plan the connection of the Raugeo probes with the heat pump that will be installed in the underground parking of Amadeo A1. Rehau provides a special panel, that will fit in an opening we left in the wall, and let the pipe of the probes enter, while insuring the waterproofing.
