Amadeo construction update: exterior, facade, plumbing and heating

Construction

Work on Amadeo's roof is almost finished (only edges remain to be done) and work on windows will be completed this week. Our team worked on the exterior walls and surfaces. We also started to install the scaffolding around the building for doing the facade. Most importantly, Kombo, our Rehau certified installer, moved in for plumbing, heating and electrical installation.

Roof finished (besides edges)

Decra-Octava roof on the south side of Amadeo. The metallic pieces peaking out of the roof are the supportive elements for the solar collectors.

Exterior: supportive walls

We have been working on the supportive walls around the front side of Amadeo. The entrance of the building is about 1 meter above street level and ground will be put back to make a nice garden for the ground level apartments. Only stairs remain to be done.

Exterior: hydro-insulation

On the south side, above the underground parking we installed the hydro-insulation layer. We use Testudo Spunbond Polyester Tipo 30, a very sturdy and resistant waterproofing membrane from Index. On top of it, we will later install an anti-root membrane, before to put ground.

Facade: installation of the scaffolding

On the west side, we started to install the scaffolding for doing the facade of the building. Installation will be done over the next few days and work on the facade will start.

Starting plumbing and heating installation

Certified Rehau installer Kombo moved in for performing installation of wastewater, plumbing, electricity and heating. They started passing verticals for the various systems.
