Sound insulation of walls

We take deep care of the sound insulation of floors and walls, especially common walls between apartments. Large clay blocks we use to build walls already provide excellent natural sound insulation. Common walls between apartment are made using 25 cm thick clay blocks. On top of the clay blocks, we apply, on 1 or 2 sides depending of the configuration, natural cork boards. Cork provides fantastic sound insulation.

Sound insulation of floors

On the floor, we apply one layer of sound insulation material. Thickness vary from 0.5 to 1 cm.

Sound insulation of pipes

Fixation of the waste water pipes on the wall is done with special fixations with amortization. That is to prevent the transmission of vibrations to the walls.

Sound insulation of waste water pipes is done using Armacell Tubolit AR Fonoblok.
